WAY is a registered charity funded by local Worcester City charities. We use our resources and expertise to recruit clever, experienced people with skills and ideas to share. We support them with all the checks, insurance, training and paperwork necessary, along with an active Management Committee made up of representatives from the voluntary and statutory sector operating in the City. We back them up with admin staff, management and quality control. We give them resources and equipment. Then we offer them to you – FOR FREE.

Our target age group is 11 to 16 years. Our aim is to

“To help and educate young people through their leisure time activities so to develop their physical, mental and spiritual
capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of
life may be improved.”

Worcester Action for Youth Constitution

We are able to do this in partnership with the many youth groups we support across the city, from Church groups to Uniform groups such as the Guides, to Youth groups based in the heart of communities including Ronkswood, Warndon, Brickfields, Tolladine and Dines Green, to Independent Youth Clubs to Council supported Youth Clubs. If as an organisation you are working with young people within the city and our target age group, get in touch, use us, we’re here to enhance your work and opportunities for young people.

If you would like to locate a youth group we are operating in, go to the calendar page to see the date and activity available along with the venue, then go to the contact us page to locate the venue on the map. Directions to the club can be requested from here.
